GO Series: Kent Eby

This week is our modified GO Series, a week when we focus on God’s work and mission in our world, whether it’s across the street or around the globe.

We are privileged to hear from a veteran Bethel professor and missionary, Dr. Kent Eby.

Dr. Eby completed a Bachelor of Business Administration from James Madison University (1988), a master of ministry from Bethel University and a Ph.D. from Trinity International University.

Kent, and his wife Linda, served as missionaries in Russia before returning to the states, where Kent has been a faculty member at Bethel since 2007. He teaches in the areas of Intercultural Studies, with a primary focus in the theology of mission, cultural learning and engagement, and critical reflection and interaction with issues related to community development and international ministry.

Kent serves the athletic department Faculty Representative, and has led a number of University Task Force tams.

Outside of Bethel, Kent enjoys teaching in the local church, and at various camp meetings across the country.

GO CONFERENCE: Cory Martin

Cory Martin graduated from Bethel College in 2000 with a degree in Biblical Studies. After graduation he became involved first in local politics and then national politics. Cory served as the District Director for Congressman Chris Chocola for 6 years and the District Director for Congressman Mark Souder for 4 years.

After leaving politics, Cory worked as Director of Development for The Crossing Educational Center, a faith-based alternative school, before accepting a job as Chaplain at the Elkhart County Jail, where he’s served for the past 6 years.

Cory is married to Shannan and they have 4 children ages 11-25 and live in Goshen.

Kirk Falconer's bucket list never included serving as the CEO for Destiny Rescue USA nor did it include being an advocate for children enslaved in the sex trade. But meeting these kids and witnessing their transformation from broken to beautiful has filled him with the desire for setting these vulnerable children free.

Go Conference: Geoff King- Jerusalem & Judea

Geoff King is a 2007 graduate of Bethel College currently serving as the Equipping Director at Fellowship Missionary Church in Fort Wayne. Geoff has a heart for discipleship among young leaders. He also cares deeply for racial and cultural reconciliation within the body of Christ.
