We’re continuing our STORIES OF GRACE series, highlighting God’s faithfulness and loving-kindness in the lives of Bethel University faculty and staff. This morning we are blessed to hear from Bethel’s VP for Enrollment Management, Amanda Slaughter.
Amanda is originally from South Central Los Angeles, California. A senior executive with more than 18 years of experience in higher education, she has worked with undergraduate traditional, nontraditional and graduate students through enrollment, financial aid, career services and student retention at a number of Christian Colleges and Universities in California, Pennsylvania, Mississippi and now Indiana.
Amanda obtained a bachelor’s degree in Journalism, and a minor in Biblical Studies at Biola University. She earned her master’s degree in Higher Education at Geneva College. She continued her education with the CCCU Leadership Development Institute (2015) and Summer Institute for Reconciliation at Duke University (2010).
Amanda has been married to Andrew, a therapist, for 17 years, and they have a 12 year old son, Jonathan.
