The IGNITE Series is a Spiritual Emphasis Week when we ask God to light a spiritual flame in each of us; one that will move us to know Him more fully, follow him more deeply, and reflect him more brightly.
Our speaker for the week is Jerrell Jobe. Jerrell has been in full-time pastoral ministry for the past 25 years and currently serves as the Director of Development for GTI Biblical Study Tours. He has a bachelor’s degree in American Sign Language Interpreting, a master’s degree in Spiritual Formation and Leadership, and Archaeology & Biblical History.
Throughout his ministry, Jerrell has led over 100 trips, to more than 25 countries. For the past twelve years, he has been leading study tours to the biblical lands of Egypt, Jordan, Israel, Turkey, Greece, and Rome.
His passion is seeing life-changing spiritual formation occur as travelers gain a greater understanding of the Story of Scripture in its original context while engaging in the ancient practice of pilgrimage.
In addition to leading tours, Jerrell frequently speaks at churches and serves as an adjunct professor with Bethel University’s BUX sites. In his free time, he enjoys reading, running, cycling, swimming, and hiking. Jerrell and his wife Charissa have three children.
