Bethel University’s ninth president, Dr. Dee McDonald.
Dr. McDonald has worked in Christian higher education for the past 20 years in areas of enrollment and marketing. He has also served as a pastor, a church planter, and professor.
He earned his bachelor’s degree in Social Science education, a Master’s degree in Business Administration and a Ph.D. in organizational leadership.
Dr. Dee grew up as a pastor’s kid just around the corner in LaPorte, Ind., and learned about Bethel through Bible quizzing with his local Missionary Church. He is married to his high school sweetheart, Amanda, and they have two children, Ell and Maelee.
