Congressman Rudy Yakym is a fourth generation Hoosier who is proud to represent Bethel University and the people of Indiana’s Second District.
Born and raised in South Bend, Rudy received a bachelor’s degree in business finance and administration from Indiana University South Bend, and his Executive MBA from the University of Notre Dame.
Congressman Yakym serves on the House Ways and Means Committee, where, now in his second term, he has championed legislation like the Reducing Bureaucracy to Uplift Families Act and the bipartisan Improper Payments Transparency Act, both aimed at improving federal efficiency and supporting working families.
Rudy loves Jesus, his family, and representing Bethel and our surrounding district in Washington, D.C.
He and his wife Sallyann live in Granger with their three wonderful children. They worship at New Life Baptist Church just down the street, where Rudy serves as Head Usher.
